Roomz sensors are designed for multi-year battery life, typically 3 to 5 years depending on usage patterns. Battery status is monitored through the Roomz platform and low battery alerts are sent before replacement is needed.
Do Roomz sensors require network wiring?
No. Roomz sensors are completely wireless and battery-powered. They communicate via Bluetooth to a Roomz gateway connected to your network. Installation takes minutes with no ceiling or wall wiring.
How accurate is the occupancy detection?
Roomz PIR sensors achieve over 95 percent accuracy for detecting room occupancy. People counting features provide approximate headcounts rather than exact numbers, suitable for capacity monitoring.
