Do I need a Mersive Solstice Pod for each screen
Yes. Each screen that supports both Solstice collaboration and Hangar.Media signage needs a Solstice Pod connected to it. The Pod handles the wireless collaboration features while the Hangar.Media player handles signage content. The integration coordinates between the two devices.
How does the screen know when to switch from signage to Solstice
The integration monitors the Solstice Pod for active connections. When the first participant connects to share their screen, a signal is sent to the Hangar.Media player to switch the display input to the Solstice Pod. When all participants disconnect, the display switches back to the signage player.
Can I schedule when Solstice mode is available
Yes. You can integrate with your room booking calendar so Solstice mode is only available during booked meetings. Outside of booked times, the screen stays in signage mode regardless of Solstice connection attempts. This prevents unauthorized use of meeting room screens.
What Solstice subscription is required
The Hangar.Media integration works with Solstice Pods running current firmware with an active Solstice subscription. The subscription includes access to Solstice Dashboard for centralised management. Contact Mersive for current pricing and subscription details.
