Yes. Hangar.Media connects to Google Workspace room resource calendars, which is the standard way meeting rooms are managed in Google Workspace. Room calendars, equipment calendars, and shared calendars are all supported.
Can employees book a room from the signage screen?
On touch-enabled screens, Hangar.Media can display a booking interface that creates a Google Calendar event for the room directly from the screen outside the meeting room.
How quickly does the room status update?
Hangar.Media polls the Google Calendar API at your chosen interval, typically every 1 to 3 minutes. Room status changes are reflected on the signage screen within minutes of a booking being created or an event ending.
Can I display personal calendars on a signage screen?
Yes, though this is typically used for team shared calendars or event calendars rather than personal schedules. You can display any Google Calendar that the authenticated account has access to.
