Google Drive media, on your screens.
Stream images, videos, and documents from Google Drive shared folders directly to digital signage screens with automatic sync.
Your Drive Content on Every Screen
Google Drive is where teams store and share files. Hangar.Media connects to Google Drive folders and displays their contents on signage screens as image slideshows, video playlists, or document carousels. Add files to the folder from any device and they appear on screen automatically. The Google Drive folder becomes your signage content management system.
What you can do with your screens.
Three capabilities that make this integration essential for your digital signage network.
Automatic Content from Folders
Link a Google Drive folder to a signage screen. Files added to the folder appear on screen automatically. Files removed from the folder disappear from the display. The folder is the single source of truth for your signage content.
Drop files in Drive, see them on screen.
Automatic new file detection
File removal reflected on screen
Supports shared and team drives
Photo Slideshow from Drive
Display images from a Google Drive folder as a photo slideshow with smooth transitions. Upload event photos, marketing assets, or team pictures from any device and the signage screen updates its slideshow automatically.

Common questions. Straight answers.
Can I use personal Google Drive or only Google Workspace?
Both are supported. Personal Google Drive accounts connect through Google Account authentication. Google Workspace accounts connect through Google Workspace admin consent and support shared drives.
What file types are supported?
Images (JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP), videos (MP4, MOV, AVI), and documents (PDF, Google Docs, Google Slides) are supported. The most common use is image slideshows and video playback.
How quickly do new files appear on the signage screen?
Hangar.Media monitors the linked Google Drive folder at your chosen interval, typically every 5 to 15 minutes. New files appear on screen at the next sync cycle.
Can I link folders from multiple Google accounts?
Yes. You can connect multiple Google accounts to Hangar.Media and link folders from different accounts to different signage screens or combine them in content playlists.
