Bridge screen content to mobile devices

The QR Code Generator integration creates dynamic QR codes that you can embed in any screen layout. Link them to URLs, files, Wi-Fi credentials, contact cards, or app downloads. Because the codes are dynamic, you can change the destination URL after publishing without regenerating the code on screen.

Bridge // Key Features

What you can do with every display.

Three capabilities that make this integration essential for your digital signage network.

Dynamic Codes // 01

Change destinations without reprinting

Dynamic QR codes use a short redirect URL that you control. Change the final destination at any time through the Hangar.Media dashboard and every scan of the existing code goes to the new URL. No need to update screen layouts or regenerate codes.

We update our weekly specials link every Monday and the same QR code on screen always works.

Update destination URLs in real time without touching screen layouts

Short redirect URLs with custom tracking parameters

Expiration dates to automatically disable old codes

Scan Analytics // 02

Measure engagement by screen

Track every scan with detailed analytics. See which screens drive the most scans, what time of day engagement peaks, and which content prompts the most mobile interactions. Compare QR performance across locations to optimize placement and messaging.

Scan data showed our restaurant entrance screen gets three times more engagement than the hallway.

QR codes that match your brand

Customize the appearance of your QR codes with brand colors, rounded corners, and embedded logos. Branded codes look professional and are more likely to be scanned because viewers recognize and trust the visual identity.

Our branded QR codes with the company logo get noticeably more scans than generic black and white ones.

Custom foreground and background color options

Common questions. Straight answers.

What is the difference between static and dynamic QR codes

Static QR codes encode the destination directly and cannot be changed after creation. Dynamic QR codes use a redirect URL that can be updated at any time. Hangar.Media recommends dynamic codes for signage because you can change destinations without updating the screen.

Can I track how many people scan each QR code

Yes. Dynamic QR codes include built-in scan tracking. The analytics dashboard shows total scans, unique scans, scan times, device types, and which screen location generated each scan.

How large should the QR code be on screen

As a rule of thumb, the QR code should be at least 2.5 centimeters for every 30 centimeters of scanning distance. For a screen viewed from 2 meters away, the code should be at least 15 centimeters across for reliable scanning.

Can I add my company logo inside the QR code

Yes. The QR code generator supports embedded center logos. The code uses error correction to remain scannable even with a logo covering up to 30 percent of the code area.
