Make any area of your screen tappable.
Overlay invisible touch hotspots on any image, video, or layout. Viewers tap specific areas to reveal product details, navigate to pages, launch videos, or trigger actions without a traditional menu interface.
Interactive zones without visible buttons
The Touch Hotspots integration lets you draw invisible tap zones over any content in your screen layout. When a viewer taps a hotspot, it triggers an action: navigate to another page, open a popup with product details, play a video, launch a form, or open a URL. Hotspots turn static content into an interactive experience without changing the visual design.
What you can do with tappable.
Three capabilities that make this integration essential for your digital signage network.
Draw hotspots visually
Use the visual zone editor to draw hotspot areas over your layout preview. Create rectangular, circular, or freeform polygon zones. Position and resize them precisely to align with visual elements in your content like product images, category labels, or call-to-action areas.
I drew hotspots over each product image in our catalog layout in about ten minutes.

Powerful responses to every tap
Each hotspot can trigger a different action when tapped. Navigate to another page in your kiosk flow, open a popup overlay with detailed information, start a video player, launch a form, open a URL on a connected device, or send a webhook to an external system.
Tapping a product image opens a detail popup while tapping the logo navigates back to the home screen.

Multi-action sequences triggered by a single tap
Adjustable tap feedback with animations and sound effects
See where viewers tap most
Track tap counts per hotspot to understand which interactive areas generate the most engagement. Heatmap overlays show tap density across the entire screen, revealing which content areas attract attention and which are ignored.
The heatmap showed everyone taps the top-left product first so we put our best seller there.

Built for every sector.
See how different industries use this integration to drive results.
Interactive product catalog
Stores overlay hotspots on product catalog images so customers tap any item to see pricing, sizes, availability, and detailed product descriptions in a popup overlay.
HospitalityInteractive hotel amenity maps
Hotels overlay hotspots on a property map image so guests tap the pool, spa, restaurant, or gym to see hours, descriptions, and reservation options.
EducationInteractive campus information boards
Universities overlay hotspots on campus maps so students tap buildings to see department directories, office hours, and contact information.
EntertainmentInteractive event venue maps
Concert venues and conference centers overlay hotspots on venue maps so attendees tap stage areas, exhibitor booths, or food courts for detailed information.
Common questions. Straight answers.
How many hotspots can I add to one screen
There is no hard limit on hotspot count. You can add as many zones as your layout requires. For best user experience, we recommend keeping hotspot areas large enough to tap comfortably, at least 44 by 44 pixels.
Can hotspots be layered on top of video content
Yes. Hotspot zones work over any content type including live video playback. This lets viewers tap specific areas of a video to get more information or navigate to related content.
Do hotspots work with non-touch screens
Hotspots require a touch-enabled display. On non-touch screens, you can pair the display with a QR code that opens the same interactive experience on a visitor phone.
Can I see which hotspots get the most taps
Yes. The analytics dashboard shows tap counts per hotspot, tap heatmaps over the full screen, and time-based engagement patterns. Use this data to optimize which content and products get prime hotspot placement.
