Turn any screen into an interactive kiosk.
Enable touch interactivity on your digital signage displays. Build self-service kiosks with tap-to-navigate menus, product catalogs, directories, and information browsers that visitors control directly.
Self-service starts with touch
The Touchscreen Kiosk integration brings full interactivity to your Hangar.Media displays. Design multi-page kiosk experiences with navigation menus, image galleries, video players, and information directories that visitors interact with directly on screen. An automatic idle timeout returns the kiosk to its attract screen when no one is using it.
What you can do with interactive kiosk.
Three capabilities that make this integration essential for your digital signage network.
Design without code
The visual kiosk builder lets you create multi-page interactive experiences using drag-and-drop components. Add buttons, image carousels, video players, text panels, and form inputs. Link pages together with tap-to-navigate actions to create complete self-service flows.
We built a full product catalog kiosk in two hours without writing a single line of code.
Multi-page layout editor with visual page flow mapping
Pre-built components for buttons, galleries, videos, and forms
Custom branding with fonts, colors, and logo placement
Eye-catching idle screens
When no one is interacting, the kiosk plays an attract loop of promotional content, animations, or video to draw visitors in. After a adjustable idle timeout, any active session resets and the attract loop resumes. This keeps the screen useful even between interactions.
The attract loop runs our promo video and people walk up and start tapping naturally.

Understand how visitors interact
Every touch, page view, and navigation path is logged. View analytics dashboards showing which pages get the most visits, where users drop off, average session length, and peak usage times. Use these insights to optimize your kiosk content and layout.
Analytics showed 70 percent of users visit the map page first so we moved it to the home screen.

CorporateVisitor building directory
Office buildings provide lobby touchscreen kiosks where visitors look up company directories, floor maps, and meeting room locations for self-service wayfinding.
Common questions. Straight answers.
What touch technologies are supported
Hangar.Media supports capacitive touch, infrared touch overlays, projected capacitive touch, and surface acoustic wave touch screens. Any HID-compliant touch input device works with the platform.
Can I use a regular display with a touch overlay
Yes. You can add an infrared or capacitive touch overlay frame to any existing display to enable touch functionality. The overlay connects via USB to the media player running Hangar.Media.
What happens if the kiosk freezes or crashes
Hangar.Media includes a watchdog process that detects unresponsive kiosk sessions and automatically restarts the application. The kiosk returns to the attract screen within 30 seconds of any detected issue.
Can I restrict users from exiting the kiosk application
Yes. Kiosk lockdown mode disables system-level gestures, keyboard shortcuts, and navigation bars so users cannot exit the Hangar.Media application. An admin PIN is required to unlock the device for maintenance.
