Do I need a paid MenuZen plan for this integration
The integration works with all MenuZen plans that include API access. Most MenuZen Pro and Business plans include API access by default. Check your MenuZen account settings or contact MenuZen support to confirm your plan includes API access.
Can I display multiple MenuZen menus on different screens
Yes. You can assign different MenuZen menus to different screen groups. For example, display your bar menu on screens near the bar and your food menu on screens in the dining area. Each screen group pulls from the MenuZen menu you assign to it.
What happens when an item is marked as 86d in MenuZen
The item is automatically hidden from your digital menu board within seconds. The layout reflows to fill the gap cleanly so customers do not see blank spaces. When the item is marked available again in MenuZen, it reappears on the board automatically.
Can I add items to the digital menu that are not in MenuZen
Yes. You can add static items, promotional banners, and custom content directly in the Hangar.Media editor alongside your synced MenuZen data. This is useful for daily specials or limited-time promotions that you manage outside of MenuZen.
