Waitwhile queue data. Wait times on screen.
Connect your Waitwhile virtual queue system to digital signage displays. Show real-time queue position, estimated wait times, and now-serving notifications on lobby and waiting room screens.
Queue management, visible on every screen.
The Hangar.Media Waitwhile integration pulls real-time queue data from your Waitwhile virtual queue system and displays it on your lobby and waiting room screens. Customers see their position in the queue, estimated wait time, and now-serving notifications without checking their phone. Staff-facing screens show queue depth, average wait times, and service metrics.
What you can do with Wait times on screen.
Three capabilities that make this integration essential for your digital signage network.
Live queue status for waiting customers
Display the current queue on lobby screens showing now-serving status, next in line, and estimated wait times. Customers see their position update in real time as the queue moves, reducing perceived wait times and front-desk inquiries.
Customers watch the queue move instead of watching the clock.
Now-serving display with customer name or number
Queue position and estimated wait time per customer
Queue movement animation showing progress
Staff-facing queue analytics
Display queue performance metrics on staff-facing screens. Show current queue depth, average wait time, average service time, and customers served today. Managers use these dashboards to make staffing decisions and identify bottlenecks.
Managers see the queue bottleneck before customers feel it.
Current queue depth and average wait time
Service time averages by staff member and service type
Daily and hourly customer volume tracking
Multiple service queues on one display
For locations offering multiple service types, display separate queues on a single screen. Customers see which queue they are in and their position relative to others. Each service type has its own estimated wait time and now-serving indicator.
Three service windows, three queues, one screen.
Separate queue lanes for different service types
Per-service estimated wait times
Colour-coded service type identification
Four steps to connected screens.
From setup to live content in minutes, not days.

Common questions. Straight answers.
Does this require a Waitwhile paid plan?
The integration works with any Waitwhile plan that includes API access. Check your Waitwhile subscription to confirm API availability. Most Waitwhile Professional and Enterprise plans include the required API access.
How are customer names displayed on screen?
You can set the display to show full names, first names only, last initial only, or ticket numbers based on your privacy requirements. Healthcare and government locations typically use ticket numbers while retail locations use first names.
Can customers join the queue from the screen?
On touchscreen displays, Hangar.Media can show a QR code that links to the Waitwhile join page. Customers scan the code with their phone to join the virtual queue. Direct sign-up on the touchscreen is also supported with the Waitwhile kiosk mode.
What happens when the queue is empty?
When no customers are in the queue, the screen displays a welcome message with walk-up invitation text and estimated current service time. You can also set it to switch to other signage content when the queue is empty.
