Bridge // Key Features

What you can do with Visible to every team.

Three capabilities that make this integration essential for your digital signage network.

Alert Display // 01

Real-time incident alert notifications

When xMatters sends an incident notification, the alert appears on your operations screens within seconds. Active incidents are displayed with severity, affected service, assigned responder, and elapsed time. Resolved incidents clear automatically when closed in xMatters.

The wall knows about the incident before the pager finishes buzzing.

On-call rotation schedule display

Show who is currently on call for every service and team. The on-call board displays the current primary and secondary responders, their contact details, and when the next rotation handoff occurs. Teams always know who to contact without checking the xMatters app.

Bridge // Questions

Common questions. Straight answers.

How quickly do xMatters alerts appear on screens?

Alerts appear on your digital signage screens within 10 seconds of being triggered in xMatters. The integration uses webhook push notifications for near-instant delivery rather than polling, ensuring minimal latency for critical alerts.

Can I filter which alerts appear on screens?

Yes. You can filter displayed alerts by service, severity, group, or custom properties. Operations centre screens can show all alerts while individual team area screens show only alerts relevant to that team.

Does it show historical incident data?

The primary display shows active incidents, but you can set up a historical view showing recently resolved incidents, daily incident counts, and MTTR trends. Historical data is pulled from the xMatters reporting API.

Can I integrate xMatters with ServiceNow data on the same screen?

Yes. Hangar.Media supports multi-source dashboards. You can combine xMatters alert data with ServiceNow incident data, infrastructure monitoring, and other sources on a single operations centre screen.
