Common questions. Straight answers.
Where does the air quality data come from?
Data is sourced from government-operated air quality monitoring stations nearest to your chosen location. Sources include the EPA AirNow network, DEFRA UK, and equivalent agencies worldwide.
How often is the data updated?
Air quality data updates hourly from monitoring stations. Pollen data is updated daily. The display refreshes automatically at each update cycle.
What do the AQI colors mean?
The standard AQI color scale runs from green (good, 0-50), yellow (moderate, 51-100), orange (unhealthy for sensitive groups, 101-150), red (unhealthy, 151-200), purple (very unhealthy, 201-300), to maroon (hazardous, 301+).
Can I display pollen data without AQI?
Yes. Each data category, AQI, individual pollutants, and pollen, can be enabled or disabled independently. Display only the data relevant to your audience.
