Every room, in game mode.
Live room availability, game-in-progress countdowns, team leaderboards and theme-branded reception for escape-room operators.
Escape rooms sell the experience. Signage sets the tone before the first clue.
An escape-room venue runs a choreographed flow — reception brief, themed waiting area, locked-room countdown, post-game photo booth, social-media sharing. Every surface can either build atmosphere or undermine it. Hangar.Media integrates with escape-room booking platforms (Bookeo, Resova, Xola, FareHarbor, PeekPro) to surface live room availability, in-game countdowns for theme spectators, team-leaderboards in the lounge, and post-game photo-booth-driven social sharing.
Built for how escape rooms actually run.
The capabilities that matter in this sector — concrete, specific, and backed by the integrations your team already uses.
Walk-ins. Tonight. See what's bookable.
Reception and entrance screens surface live room availability for the next few hours — Mystery Manor free at 7:30, Bank Heist at 8:15, next-fully-booked slot for reserve-ahead customers. Walk-in-friendly escape-room venues see 20%+ walk-in conversion when availability is visible before reception asks 'have you booked?'.
Walk-in couples Saturday evening find a 7:30 slot without queueing for reception.
- Bookeo, Resova, Xola, FareHarbor, PeekPro integration
- Next-2-hours availability per-room
- Live 'next free' countdown for currently-occupied rooms
- Walk-in booking QR for same-night reservations
Mystery Manor team: 12 minutes to escape.
Waiting-area and lounge screens show in-game team-countdowns for currently-running games — team-name (alias by default), minutes-remaining, without spoiling clues. Spectators-in-waiting watch the countdowns with tension; post-game social-media capture is richer when friends watching see a ten-second-finish from the lounge.
The lounge buzzes with the countdown. Social-media content captures the tension.
- Alias-only team-name display (team-picked or first-player-first-name)
- Minutes-remaining countdown without spoiling clues
- Game-state overlay (early, middle, late-game) for dramatic tension
- Multi-game display for multi-room venues
Team of the Week. Top-10 escape times.
Lounge and reception screens rotate through team-leaderboards per-room — fastest-escape-time, fewest-clues-used, highest-success-rate-with-novice-teams. Competitive teams book return visits to beat their own time; social-media sharing of leaderboard-entries drives visibility. Archive views for 'top 10 of 2024' build venue-legend status.
Competitive teams return to beat their time. Social sharing compounds the effect.
- Per-room fastest-escape leaderboard
- Fewest-clues-used alternative leaderboard
- Team-of-the-week recognition with photo (opt-in consent)
- Archive views (top 10 of 2024, all-time, seasonal)
Your reception becomes the setting.
Escape-room venues sell atmosphere. Reception screens run theme-branded content that primes the experience — Mystery Manor shelves with flickering candlelight, Bank Heist vault-door imagery, Zombie Outbreak quarantine notices. When a team is waiting for their booked game, the reception theme shifts to match their game-theme. Transition from lobby to locked-room feels continuous, not jarring.
The waiting room prepares the team. They step into the room already in character.
- Game-theme branded waiting-area content
- Team-booking-triggered theme shift in reception screens
- Atmospheric content library (horror, crime, sci-fi, family-friendly)
- Theme-swap coordination with sound-design hardware
Photo booth. Social share. Repeat booking.
Post-game photo-booth screens support the 'escaped in 47 minutes' selfie moment — team photo overlay with time, clues-used, escape-or-fail status and social-share QR. Instagram and TikTok posts from escape-room photo moments drive measurable word-of-mouth bookings. Repeat-booking QR for the harder-difficulty room takes advantage of the post-game dopamine.
The post-game photo on Instagram is your next customer.
- Team-photo overlay with game-result (time, clues, success)
- Social-share QR for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook
- Repeat-booking QR for harder-difficulty rooms
- Next-available-slot prompt for enthusiastic teams

Which escape-room booking platforms do you integrate with?
Bookeo, Resova, Xola, FareHarbor, PeekPro, Rezdy, Checkfront and custom REST-API-compatible booking systems. We pull live room availability, next-game-start countdowns, team-name data (alias-only by default) and post-game result data for leaderboards. Integration is included in the flat per-screen price.
How do in-game countdowns work without spoiling clues?
Countdowns show only minutes-remaining and optional game-state overlays (early, middle, late-game). No clue-content, no puzzle-progress, no room-specific spoilers ever appear on public waiting-area screens. Game-master-console screens (private, not visible to guests) carry the full progress detail. The public-screen countdowns build atmosphere; the private-console drives the game-master's interventions.
Can we run different themes per room automatically?
Yes. Room-theme-branded content libraries are configured per-room, and when a team is booked for a specific room, the relevant waiting-area screens load that room's theme content 15-20 minutes before game-start. Game-master-console screens show all rooms simultaneously with the theme-context for quick switching. Theme libraries can be custom-produced at a one-off fee or drawn from our general library (horror, crime, sci-fi, fantasy, family-friendly).
Pricing for an escape-room venue?
£5 per screen per month. A single-venue 5-room escape venue with 6 screens (reception + waiting + 2 lounge + photo-booth + window) pays £30 per month. A 15-venue escape-room chain with 8 screens per venue pays £600 per month. Custom theme-content library is optional add-on. No escape-room or entertainment-sector premium.
