Prescription ready. Customer called.
Dispensing queue boards, OTC and services promotion, flu-clinic booking and multilingual patient messaging on every screen.
Pharmacies sell OTC, dispense prescriptions, deliver services and answer questions. Signage has to help all four.
A community pharmacy does four things at once: dispense scripts, sell over-the-counter remedies, deliver services (flu jabs, blood-pressure checks, weight-management), and answer counter questions for patients who can't get a GP appointment. Each surface has its own rhythm. Hangar.Media runs dispensing-queue boards at the counter, OTC-promotion screens in the aisle, services-booking signage at the consultation-room door, and multilingual information across every waiting position — from one pharmacy dashboard integrated with your PMR system.
Built for how pharmacies actually run.
The capabilities that matter in this sector — concrete, specific, and backed by the integrations your team already uses.
Script ready. Customer approaches. Alias-only.
Dispensing-counter boards surface prescription-ready status pulled from your PMR system. Customers see their script-number plus first-name (alias-only by default) and know to approach. Counter staff stop shouting 'Mrs Patel?' across a busy pharmacy — dignified collection, privacy-preserving, and faster than name-call queueing.
The pharmacy stops calling customer names across a waiting room.
- Proscript Connect, Cegedim Rx and PharmaSys PMR integration
- Alias-only display (first-name + script-number) for privacy
- Estimated wait-time for scripts still being dispensed
- Multi-language collection prompts for diverse customer bases
The aisle promotes what's in stock. Seasonally.
OTC-area screens rotate seasonal promotions (hay-fever in spring, cough-and-cold in winter, back-to-school allergy packs in August) with POS-aware stock-awareness. When a hero OTC product sells out, the screen rotates to the next-in-line. Head-office seasonal campaigns push simultaneously across every branch; local branches retain control over their local-event promotion.
Hay-fever season hits. Every pharmacy in the estate promotes the antihistamines on the same morning.
- Seasonal campaign calendar (hay-fever, cough-and-cold, back-to-school, wellbeing)
- POS-aware stock-availability with auto-hide for sold-out products
- Per-branch local-event promotion overrides
- Regional variants for NHS vs private healthcare markets
Flu clinic. Today at 2pm. The wall tells everyone.
Community pharmacies increasingly deliver NHS-funded and private services — flu vaccinations, blood-pressure checks, weight-management consultations, travel-health advice. Services-booking screens at the consultation-room door surface today's clinic schedule, upcoming services (Saturday NHS Pharmacy First clinic, Monday blood-pressure check week), and one-touch booking QRs.
Pharmacy services book out faster when the wall advertises them.
- Services calendar with NHS Pharmacy First, vaccination, travel-health and wellbeing
- Consultation-room status (in-use / free / next-appointment) at the door
- One-touch booking QR for walk-in-eligible services
- Multi-language service description for diverse catchment areas
Twelve languages. Evidence-aligned content.
Waiting-position screens run patient-information content tuned to the catchment demographic — NHS-endorsed content (in UK), CDC and FDA-endorsed content (in US), in the twelve most-spoken languages on UK and US pharmacy floors. Helps new-to-country patients navigate the healthcare system and reduces counter-questioning load on pharmacists.
Urdu and Polish information loops answer the questions before they reach the pharmacist.
- NHS-endorsed and CDC/FDA-endorsed patient-information library
- 12-language playback (EN, ES, AR, ZH, UR, PL, RO, RU, FR, DE, IT, JA)
- Evidence-aligned content on medication-adherence, self-care, when-to-see-a-GP
- Audio-description and subtitle options for accessibility

National pharmacy chains manage seasonal-campaign rollouts, OTC promotion and service calendars centrally from HQ, with per-branch local-event promotion autonomy. Brand-standard template enforcement keeps the customer experience consistent across 1,000+ branches, while individual pharmacy managers retain control over locally-relevant content.
1,200 branches refresh their flu-clinic promotion at 7am. Nobody visits a store.
- Central content library with per-branch override capability
- Estate-wide seasonal campaign rollout with per-branch preview

Which pharmacy PMR systems do you integrate with?
Proscript Connect, Cegedim Rx, PharmaSys, Titan PMR, Positive Solutions Analyst, Enterprise Rx and FHIR-compatible generic systems. We pull dispensing-queue status (alias-only script-ready) for counter boards. For OTC promotion we integrate with pharmacy-retail POS (NCR, Square for Retail, Toshiba, Oracle Retail) for stock-aware rotation. Integration is included in the flat per-screen price.
How do you handle customer-privacy on prescription-ready boards?
Alias-only by default — first-name plus script-number (e.g. 'Sarah — #4782'). No full names, no dates of birth, no medication details ever transit to the screen. For pharmacies that want to call by script-number only, full-number display is configurable. For deaf-access requirements, optional audio prompts can be added alongside visual displays.
Can we run different OTC campaigns at different branches?
Yes. Head-office campaigns push estate-wide by default (seasonal rollouts, manufacturer-funded promotions) while per-branch local events (school-term wellness fairs, community-engagement campaigns, local-pharmacist services) run on the local branch's override slot. Permissions scope editing per role — HQ content team, area manager, pharmacy manager, dispenser.
Pricing for a community pharmacy?
£5 per screen per month, flat. A typical community pharmacy with 4 screens (dispensing counter, OTC aisle, consultation-room, window) pays £20 per month. Every integration included, every user counted, any number of sites. Monthly, no lock-in.
