Every tax deadline, visible.
Client-meeting-room signage, tax-deadline countdowns, document-collection prompts and matter-branded reception displays.
Accountancy sells peace of mind. The waiting room should look like it delivers it.
An accountancy practice is a trust-purchase business where clients walk into a reception having just been asked for their fiscal history. The physical space has to signal competence and calm. Hangar.Media puts current tax-deadline countdowns on the reception wall, pulls client-meeting-room branding from your practice-management system, and surfaces partner and team updates on staff-area screens. Integrates with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and practice-management platforms.
Built for how accountancy practices actually run.
The capabilities that matter in this sector — concrete, specific, and backed by the integrations your team already uses.
31 January. 148 days. Every screen knows.
Reception and client-meeting-room approach screens show rolling tax-deadline countdowns — HMRC self-assessment, Corporation Tax filing, VAT quarterly, PAYE real-time information, auto-enrolment deadlines. Clients arriving for a mid-November meeting see 'Self-assessment: 78 days to file' as the ambient message. Panic drops; bookings climb.
Mid-November clients walk in already thinking about January.
- HMRC, US IRS, Irish Revenue and other jurisdiction-specific deadlines
- Per-client-segment (self-assessment, corporate, VAT-registered) countdowns
- Integration with practice tax-calendar systems for real deadlines
- Multi-language deadline information for international-client practices
The boardroom knows which client is in it.
Client-meeting-room door screens pull booking data from your practice-management system (CCH, Iris, Taxfiler, Karbon, custom CRM) and surface per-booking client branding — logo, company name, matter-reference — during the booked window. The client walks in to a boardroom that feels prepared for them. Between bookings, the screens revert to standard practice branding.
The client walks into a room that says their name. Not 'Boardroom 2'.
- CCH, Iris, Taxfiler, Karbon and custom-CRM integration
- Per-booking client logo, company name and matter reference
- Opt-in client-brand enforcement with privacy-safe defaults
- Auto-revert to practice branding between bookings
Missing documents, surfaced before the meeting.
Reception-area screens (after client check-in) surface any missing documents the practice is waiting on — 'We need your 2024-25 P60, rental income statements and Gift Aid declarations' — pulled from your client-onboarding workflow. Clients collect papers from their car rather than discovering mid-meeting they left documents at home. Meeting-time efficiency climbs.
'Did you bring your P60?' becomes a reminder, not a meeting-ending question.
- Client-onboarding workflow integration for missing-document tracking
- Alias-only reception display with discrete document checklist
- QR-overlay for upload-from-phone submission
- Post-meeting follow-up for documents still outstanding
Staff screens for the people writing the advice.
Staff-area screens surface partner updates, technical-update briefings (HMRC guidance changes, FRS-updated standards, ISA thresholds), CPD deadline reminders and team recognition. ICAEW / ACCA / CIMA CPD hours tracking keeps qualified-staff compliance visible. In larger firms, partner-cascade communications surface team-by-team without clogging email.
Partner updates reach the team. Without a fifth cascade email nobody opens.
- Technical-update briefings (HMRC, FRS, IFRS, GAAP changes)
- ICAEW / ACCA / CIMA / AAT CPD deadline tracking
- Team-level bulletins with approval workflow
- Recognition content for qualifications-passed and client-wins
Mid-tier firm with 8 offices? One dashboard.
Mid-tier accountancy firms with 5-30 offices run content centrally with per-office autonomy. Brand-standard templates enforce firm identity across every reception; local-office managers control local-event promotion and regional-partner content. Role-based permissions scope editing per role (managing partner, office partner, practice manager, marketing).
Firm-wide standard. Local partner identity. Everyone reads the same deadlines.
- Firm-wide content library with per-office override
- Brand-template enforcement with local-partner autonomy
- Role-based permissions (managing, office, practice manager, marketing)
- Per-office usage and content analytics

Which accountancy practice-management systems do you integrate with?
CCH Central, Iris Accounting, Taxfiler, Karbon, Senta, Xero Practice Manager, QuickBooks Online Accountant and FHIR-compatible CRM systems. For booking and meeting-room data we integrate with Robin, Outlook Calendar and Microsoft Teams Rooms. Integration is included in the flat per-screen price.
How do you handle client confidentiality on meeting-room signage?
Per-booking client branding is opt-in per engagement — some clients prefer anonymity (stays on default practice branding), others prefer explicit recognition. Our default is alias-only with opt-in full-branding. Matter-reference display can be suppressed entirely for sensitive engagements. The audit log captures every branding event for privacy and client-file review.
Can we surface missing-document prompts without breaching privacy?
Yes. Reception-screen document prompts default to alias-only (first-name + short description). No full client names, no company names, no financial-value information. For heightened-privacy clients (high-net-worth, PEP, celebrity clients), prompts can be suppressed entirely. Printed-prompt fallback is supported for these cases.
What do accountancy practices pay?
£5 per screen per month. A single-site practice with 5 screens pays £25 per month. A 12-office mid-tier firm with 10 screens per office pays £600 per month. Flat-rate across the estate. Every integration, every language-pack, audit-log export. No accountancy-sector premium.
